WHAT ARE CHEMICAL PEELS ?
Chemical peels consists of the application on the skin of exfoliating agents to obtain first, destruction and then regeneration of part of the epidermis and/or dermis.
Chemical peels produce a controlled wound that will result in renewal with the reduction or disappearance of sun damage, pigmentation, acne lesions, fine lines and wrinkles and superficial depressed scars. Depth and results depend on the strength of agent used including Glycolic, Lactic, Mandelic Acids. All our peels are safe, have low downtime and are a great pick-me-up for any type of skin. AHA Enzyme Peel – A light micro-exfoliating peel to assist in renewing and restoring the skin’s radiance while soothing and hydrating any dry, flaky and sensitised skin.
Peel Accelerator – An exfoliating peel that helps remove excess build-up of dead skin cells. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial activity which is great for oily congested skin. This unique peel is suitable for most skin types and will renew, brighten, and smooth the skin while providing anti-bacterial support and improving hydration.
Ageless Peel – A retinol based dermal peel which will assist in the rebuilding of the dermis. Stimulating and awakening cells deep within the skin to increase collagen, revitalise and provide the skin with a smoother, radiant complexion. This is a great peel to reduce the appearance of visible signs of ageing, scarring and sun damage. This peel will require a skincare prep at least 2 weeks prior to the treatment.
Purple Peel – A cosmedical-grade intensive skin peeling system designed to accelerate skin regeneration and resurfacing of the skin for maximum results. Fantastic results have been achieved on uneven skin tone, acne and acne related concerns and also pigmentation. Redness, inflammation and mild to moderate peeling is usual for a few days after treatment. Proper skincare is essential in order to speed healing and to ensure long-lasting results.
